Fostering education

The Franklin & Jefferson Foundation for Education works hand in hand with the US Department of Education and the Florida Department of Education in the application, acquisition, and management of grants for the foundation to ensure that the use of financial resources has the most significant possible impact for the benefit of education.

The foundation also manages resources from private donations for research funding initiatives for universities and research groups.

Additionally, we offer full and partial scholarships at American universities through public calls for applications.

Federal, state, and grant funding sources

Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson have always advocated for public investment in education, and the Franklin & Jefferson FE continues this advocacy by properly allocating public resources to areas of most significant impact.

The Foundation works with partners to acquire and administer resources for adult education in Florida through the Adult Education & Family Literacy Act 2023-2026 Grant awarded by the Florida Department of Education. Adult education and literacy have significantly impacted the quality of life for the adults benefitting from it and the workforce qualification in Florida.

Additionally, the Franklin & Jefferson FE manages resources from any Discretionary Grant it receives in collaboration with its partners for impactful initiatives in early childhood, youth, and adult education, focusing on generating positive impacts in underserved communities in the United States of America.

Education assistance for students

The Franklin & Jefferson FE assists students with outstanding performance in applying for the Pell Grant to obtain partial scholarships funded by the federal government through the US Department of Education, with an annual value of up to USD 6,895.

The Foundation also assists teachers who wish to pursue higher education and require financial support through the federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant program.
